Senior HR Adviser (permanent), £30-35k, Leeds

As a result of an internal promotion, our client is seeking an HR Adviser to work as part of a relatively large HR team, which provides high-quality HR Services to managers, employees and wider stakeholders across this multi-site business.

You will provide commercially focused advice and support to Managers in all areas of Employee Relations including Bullying and Harassment, Conduct, Performance Management, Grievance, Disciplinary and Sickness absence.

You will also support the HR Business Partners on a wide range of HR-related projects such as helping deliver organisational restructures and reviewing policies and procedures.

This role will give you the opportunity to make a real impact to the business and it is expected that you will have a desire to work pro-actively, identifying trends and proactively addressing issues of high turnover, sickness etc. You will be actively involved in an on-going programme of training and coaching of line managers giving them the confidence and capability to manage cases directly.

Skills required:

This role will require you to have a significant degree of expertise in Employee Relations, preferably gained in a role where you have managed basic settlement agreements and been exposed to employment tribunal claims.

It is essential that you have generalist HR experience including managing complex HR cases covering redundancies, dismissals and change management.

You must possess the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. It is likely that you will have worked in a commercial environment where you are used to supporting Managers to take ownership for the delivery of the People Agenda.
