HR Advisor (12 month FTC) 

A maternity leave has resulted in an opening for an experienced HR Advisor to work within a professional services organisation which genuinely offers flexible working, enabling employees to work from home, in the office or a combination of the two to suit individual needs. 

You will be joining our client as they embark upon an incredibly exciting company-wide transformation, embedding new operating models and evolved ways of working.

Working in an HR Operations team of 6, supporting all business functions, you will deliver generalist HR services including, but not limited to:

• Employee relations case management, coaching support and guidance on both formal and informal people matters

• Providing advice and guidance to line management and colleagues on HR policy and procedures

• Building HR capability into the business, establishing trusted relationships as an advisor and partner

• Supporting organisational change activities such as TUPE, reorganisation and redundancy

• Supporting talent planning and succession planning

• Supporting cyclical HR activity, providing guidance and looking for opportunities for continuous improvement

Skills/ experience sought

We are ideally looking for a CIPD level 5 qualified candidate with a strong understanding of employment law. It is expected that you will have experience of advising and coaching colleagues on complex Employee Relations matters. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of policy development, including creating new policies and making recommendations for policy and process improvement.
